Celebrating 21 years of Service to the Community!

Fort Worth Black News was first published  in 1997 by Jill Darden, with the help of her mother Chris Lott.  The newspaper has grown to offer media and marketing services to the other clients, and has become a household name in the city. Darden has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington and learned the publishing business from her mother, who created and ran the Wichita Falls Black News in the 80's.
